when weavers to the maharajas of yore, “Pothys” was established 90 years back by K.V.Pothy Moopanar under the name “Pothy Moopanar” to sell Cotton Sarees, Dhoties and Towels woven in his own loom. Pothys opened the largest showroom in Panagal Park, in the year 1999.
