Near-death experiences (NDEs) are unusual perceptions recounted by people after recovery who had nearly died or who were clinically dead and revived.Near-death experiences generally include such subjective impressions as of being outside the physical body (an out-of-body experience), visions of deceased relatives and religious figures, and other transcendental experiences. These experiences generally contain similar elements for most people who report them.
